from his pention he was born 8th Aug 1867 Cumberland, Providence Co., Rhode Island
1781 private in Militia when British took Rhode Island. He later was under the command of Capt. Webb and Major Wilson. Discharged in Bristol RI spring of 1783. Moved to Mass. then in 1814 to Delaware Co., Ohio. Testified to Sidney Moore, Currey Moore, Moses Byxbee, Solomon Smith , Benjamin F. Allen and several others. May 1, 1833 from Delaware Co., Ohio.
