Ocala - Mr. Gordon J. Kinney, 81, of Ocala, died Monday, July 14, 2008 at Munroe Regional Medical Center. A native of Pontiac, Michigan, he moved to the Ocala area 20 years ago from Columbus, Ohio. He proudly served his country in both the US Army and US Navy, in WWII and Korea. He later retired from the US Civil Service as a personnel supervisor. He is survived by his wife Ruth, daughters Bonnie Jo George of Gahanna, Ohio, Robin L. Clay, Delaware, Ohio, son Gordon J. Kinney, Jr., Hilliard, Ohio, sister Marjorie Schram and brother Amos Kinney, as well as Ruth's children Julie Shanks of Ocala, Steven R. Lane of Mendenhall, MS, and Richard L. Lane of Addis, LA, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3-5 Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 9695 SW 110th St., Ocala. At the families request, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.

Gordon next married Johanna Leopoldine GSODAM, daughter of Johann GSODAM and Hermine Leopoldine KALS, on 23 Mar 1952 in Austria. (Johanna Leopoldine GSODAM was born on 30 Oct 1927 in St. Johann, Austria, died on 5 Jul 2002 in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio, USA and was buried in Sunbury, Ohio & Home village in Austria.)
Gordon next married Ruth SIEBENBAUM.
