November 3 1908 - Mrs Lottie Thurston Cox, the wife of Mr. Frank Cox of Thompson Twp, passed suddenly away on Saturday after an illness of four hours from heart trouble. she was the daughter of Mr. J. L. Thurston of this city and was aged 51 yr. She is survived by her mother, her husband, four daughters, Miss Edna Cox of the Chicago public schools, Antionette and Louise who are at home and Clara who is a student at the Delaware High School. The funeral will be held at the Radnor Presbyterian church. Internment will be at the Radnor cemetery. Delaware Gazette

November 20, 1908 - Obituary. Lottie Luella Thurston was the daughter of john L. and Elizabeth Williams Thurston, and was born March 5, 1857. In her younger days she was a student at Ohio Wesyelan University and a member of the Athenaeum society. After her marriage to James Frank Cox, October 17, 1883, she became a member of the Stone church. her husband and four daughters and a sister survive. Interment was in Radnor cemetery alongside a little son, John Thursday, who died February 18, 1894. Delaware Gazette
