1930 Census He must have been married twice. In census he was 21 when married. and Bess was 35. They were both 39 years old.

News Journal, Mansfield, OH Saturday, 16 Dec 1967 Pg 13, col 3 ---------------- Denslow Weir Dies As Car Hits Tree In Ashland ASHLAND - A 76-year-old Ashland man died in Ashland Samaritan Hospital y e s t e r d a y , eight hours after his car slammed into a tree near Ashland College. Dead is Denslow Weir of 424 Hillcrest St., operator of the Weir Brake Shope, Ashland, and a former car dealer. Weir was fatally injured when he lost control of his car at 9 a.m. and it hit a tree on Cottage St., near the college. He died at 5 p.m. * * * Weir was a native of Smithfield, moving to Ashland 60 years ago from Sullivan. He was employed by the Fred Marshall Cadillac Agency on Main St. for several years, and was later a partner in the Downs and Weir Studebaker Agency. He was a member of Loudonville Presbyterian Church, the Ashland Masonic Blue Lodge, past high priest of the Ashland Chapter Royal Arch Masons, past master of Ashland Council, member of the Mansfield Commandary, member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Cleveland, member of Ashland County Scottish Rite, member of the Al Koran Shrine Club, Cleveland, and past president of the Ashland County Shrine Club. Surviving are one son. John R. in California, and two sisters, Mrs. Lyndon La- Rouche in Massachusetts and Mrs. J. B. Henry of Mt. Gilead, and two grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Denbow and Primm Funeral Home, Ashland, conducted by the Rev. Clifford Leach and the Rev. Merle Ramage. Burial will be in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home, where Masonic services will be held at 9 p.m. Monday. ------------------
