Joseph POTTER
Joseph Potter, brother of Gilbert, married a Mrs. Taylor, and settled on a large farm in the same school district, which, on account of the origin of the first settlers, who were noted for their morality, industry and their intelligence, was, and still is, called the "Virginia District." Joseph married Margaret JANES. (Margaret JANES was born on 8 Sep 1803 in Pennsylvania, died on 21 Mar 1863 in Delaware Co., Ohio, United States and was buried in Blue Church Cem., Kingston, Delaware., OH.) Joseph next married Mary B. HEASLETT, daughter of Robert HEASLETT and Mary, on 4 Oct 1866 in Delaware Co., Ohio, United States. (Mary B.
