Feel real sure there is a connection between this James P Bradfield and Charlotte Bradfield that married David James. The late Dovel C Coomer of Leesburg, Loudoun Co. Va. also mentioned to me in 1972-3 that there was a connection between the two, That they moved to Ohio

In the Knox Co. Ohio History Book of 1881 page 607,is the following"James W Bradfield b.6 dec1819 Loudoun Co. Va. son of John(d.1820) and Amy--------Bradfield of Loudoun Co. Va. came to Union Twp. Knox Ohio in 1836 with mother Amy and a Uncle James P Bradfield who died in Union Twp. Knox Co. Ohio in 1845, With them a sister w/ husband by the name of Ferinand Bolon.

In the Maryland marriage records he is listed as James Bradford married Elizabeth Nicholls, the date is the same as Swithen Nichols Bible records.

March 1999, ref. and records of Gerri Buss, and Jody Thomson confirm this James P Bradfield that died in Knox Co. Ohio was in deed Charlotte Bradfield James brother

As I also connect to the family of Swithen Nichols this James P Bradfield was listed in his Bible records as marrying Elizabeth Nichols.

He also was listed in his father will.
