In Banker Genealogy mentions he was divorced from first wife and remarried and moved to Kansas.

William married Amy ' Elizabeth' JAMES, daughter of David JAMES and Charlotte BRADFIELD, on 6 Jan 1858 in Morrow Co., Ohio. The marriage ended in divorce. (Amy ' Elizabeth' JAMES was born on 9 May 1828 in Loudoun, Virginia, USA, died on 2 Apr 1907 in Morrow Co., Ohio and was buried in South Woodbury ME Cem, Peru, Morrow, Ohio.)
