Delaware Gazette Novembber 28, 1856: Died in this town on the 16th inst of Typhoid Fever Mrs. Martha E. Loofbourrow wife of B.F. Loofbourrow Esq. and daughter of Ralph S. and Elizabeth Longwell of Eden, aged 35 years, 2 months and 10 days. In her 25th year she united with M.E. Church in Eden. Illness of four weeks..funeral discourse delivered by L.B. Gurley- buried in village graveyard near her father's residence.
