In 1836 when the trip to Peru Twp. Morrow Co. (then Delaware Co.) Ohio. Charlotte Bradfield James took great pride in being a accomplished Horse Woman and would have no part of riding in a cart pulled by a team of Oxens.(sic) Also riding horse back was a older daughter which I say was Ruth Hannah James would have bee n about 17 years old at the time the other 2 older daughters that were married at the time came with their husbands it seems they all travel together and it has been mentioned that they stopped in Belmont Co. Ohio.
March 1999 learned that Charlotte Bradfield James had a? sister living in Belmont Co. Ohio.
This tie in with Charlotte new son inlaw Stephen T Cunard also had a brother living in Belmont Co.Ohio Charlotte may have had a grandson by the name of George O McPherson living there or at least purchased land there for George O Mc Pherson(his mother was Vasthi B James)
David James will file in the Morrow Co. Court House at Mt. Gilead, Ohio named all the children. Charlotte Brandfield James estate settlement in the same Court House named all the children, and named the children of her decs. son Elwood B. James.

Ohio on her children and grandchildren great grandchildren. Have many obit. on children and grand children that can be found in the Morrow Co. Ohio News Papers.
Of Charlotte Bradfield James 11 children have not tracked down and contacted any descends of Olivia M James Nichols of Loudoun Co. Va. Elizabeth James Banker Elmina J James Wood---may have had a daughter that I have not tracked down yet.
