Notes: from Patti 2007 Charles F. Lytle was born Sept. 28, 1870. (Eva's bible family pages) I never saw the actual bible. I have the tattered family pages from that bible that Florence always told me about when we looked in her trunk from time to time. We don't know when Charles died. Florence and Lee told conflicting stories about it. I was told that Charles fought in the Spanish American War. I tried to research that a bit and I am leaning towards it being the Phillipine Insurrection. I didn't find out much. We have a picture of him in uniform and a box of tourist print pictures of the Phillipines that appear to be from the Phillipines. I also have family pictures of the Charles Lytle family and children. Lee George Lytle was born July 15, 1890 at Hopkins, Nodaway, Missouri. Source is Eva's bible family pages in her handwriting. Flossie T. Lytle was born Oct. 8, 1891 at Hopkins, Nodaway, Missouri. Source is Eva's bible again. I have her delayed birth certificate too. Hazel Lytle was born Dec 3, 1893 at Hopkins, Nodaway, Missouri. Bible again. Her death date is Aug 8, 1894 Hopkins, Nodaway, Missouri. Eva C. Campbell, Charles wife, was born Aug 12, 1870 Seventy Six Washington County Iowa. Her bible is the source for this. I have never found Seventy Six Washington County, but I haven't really done a good search for it. Eva and Charles married Sept 8, 1889 in Hopkins MO. Bible page and a large marriage certificate that would have been framed at one time with holes for their pictures. Pictures are not with it. Married by F. Lousdale pastor of 1st Presbyterian Church. I also have a newspaper clipping of the event. Eve married Arthur B. Deuel June 18, 1908 in Omaha, Neb.(have their large marriage certificate) by Charles Savidge or Davidge pastor of the Peoples Church. It was Arthur and Eva that "adopted" my mother, so I am not a blood relation. Arthur disappeared. and Eva died April 27, 1923 in Denver, CO. Eva, Flossie, and Lee are all buried in Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver, CO Crown Hill is a hugh Cemetery that would be easy to find. Lee and his wife Emma are buried together in a separate part of the cemetery from Eva and Flossie. Lee & Emma have flat to the ground stones. Eva Deuel is buried on one side of a large stone and Florence T. Winckel(Flossie's 3rd married name)and 3rd husband Leon Winckel are buried together on the other side of the large stone.
