info from Julie Ward Van Wert Times Van Wert, Ohio March 22, 1920 Henry Longwell Henry Longwell of East Raymond street died this morning about 8:30 after an illness of four weeks' duration. His condition became worse Sunday noon until it resulted in his death today. Mr. Longwell was 74 years of age and was a carpenter by trade. His home was in Middle Point where he has a number of relatives, but the past five years he has been living in Rockford. Four weeks ago Mr. and Mrs. Longwell came to Van Wert and have made their home with their daughter Mrs. Walter Thompson. Mr. Longwell was a Civil War veteran. He leaves his wife and three children, Mrs. Walter Thompson, Elmer Longwell of Middle Point, and Frank Longwell of George Street, of this city. He is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Martha Sterling, Mrs. Frederick Markley, and Mrs. john Lewis, and Mrs. Samuel Weldy, all of Middle Point, and two brothers, Albert of Toledo and Charles of Middle Point. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at the Ridge Church and burial will be made at Ridge Cemetery.
