Martha daughter of Gideon Buck & Sarah Allen Soper, married George Washington Doty 16 March 1826, Woodbury, Delaware County, Ohio. Martha mother of 10 children, Simeon who died infancy; Rosina, Elizabeth, Sarah, Gideon Buck who married Lucinda Boyer; Jannette, Hiram Buck, Amy, Mary Albina, and Phoebe Doty.
A descendant of Gideon Buck Doty, Eleanor Doty Murphy searched her family lines for many years and was a tremendous help to many people.
