Tabitha Reed Will
I Tabitha Reed of the county of Shelby in the State of Illinois, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say, First it is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully paid. Second, I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Nelly D. Reed and to her heirs and assigns forever all my Real Estate, together will all my personal property excepting my bed and bedding. Third, I will and bequeath unto my daughter Polly Mahaney my bed and bedding. And lastly, I hereby constitute and appoint John Carpenter, my son-in-law, Executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 15 day of March A.D. 1851.
