60. XXVII. Asa Van Sickle, the third child of Peter G. and Elizabeth, was born in Sussex Co., N J., May 29, 1807. In the autumn of 1817, he was taken by his parents to Central Ohio. He was twice married; first, in Delaware Co., O., (about the year L827) to Polly Ann Shaw, by whom he had three children ; I. Belinda, who died young; II. Edwin Ruthwin; and III. Asa, who died young. After the death of his first wife, Polly Ann, he next married (in Canada) Arlaann McOregory, by whom he had three children; (IV.) 1st, Asa M.; (V.) 2nd, Deloss, who died young; and (VI.) 3rd, a daughter, who died in childhood. He died at New Bedford, Ohio, April 20, 1844.

Asa next married Arlaann McGREAGORY in Canada.
