Seth went to Newark, New Jersey, with his father and family, and was one of the first settlers of Newark.
Seth was chosen by the town of Newark, 1 January 1696/7, along withJoseph Harrison, Nathaniel Ward, Zopher Beach, and Thomas Hayes, to makethe town rate and to make assessments on those persons that don't give ina list of their estates.
Seth married Elizabeth KITCHELL, daughter of Samuel KITCHELL and Elizabeth WAKEMAN, WFT Est 1673-1706. (Elizabeth KITCHELL was born on 1 Feb 1659 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut, USA 163 and died WFT Est 1695-1754.)
