Austin as he was called was on his way to school when he stopped to play on his father's water wheel. His father not knowing Austin was there started the wheel and he was crushed to death. his sister said when she last saw him he was swinging his lunch pail and singing "Im going to Heaven when the worlds on Fire", a hymn they sang then.
