Drusilla Van Sickle, the seventh child of John and Susannah, was born'in Delaware Co., O., October 14, 1830 ; and was married in the same county on the 25th of November, 1849, to Henry Besse, M. D., son of Andrew Besse, by whom she had an only daughter, Ella May, born May 19, 1856 who married . Her husband, Dr. Besse,was born in Licking Co., Ohio., May 12, 1823. He is a graduate of the Medical College at Cleveland, Ohio; and is author of a work on Diploteratology. He was for some time manager of the celebrated "Double Babes" who were born in Morrow County, Ohio, Peru Township, on a farm now (1880) owned by William Westbrook\emdash while on exhibition, which gave him a good opportunity for the preparation of his work. He is a successful practicioner, and now (1880) resides in Delaware, Ohio.
