Funeral services for Julia were held at the home of her daughter Agnes and her son-in-law Samuel in Bellepoint, Ohio where she lived for the past eight years of her life. She was 79 years, 5 months and 3 days old. At age 16 she joined the M.E. Church. For a time her family lived in Muscatine, Iowa.
Julia married James Henry RIDER, son of John William RIDER and Susanna CURRY, on 1 Jan 1835. (James Henry RIDER was born in 1813 in Bath Co., VA, died on 15 Oct 1882 in Kingston, Delaware, Ohio and was buried on 17 Oct 1882 in Blue Church Cem., Kingston, Delaware., OH.)
