Isaac Van Sickle, the first child of Elias and Hannah, was born in Cayuga (now Tompkins) County, New York, October 29,1810. In the autumn of 1817, he was taken by his parents to Southern Ohio (Gallia County), and from thence, in December, 1828, to Central Ohio, (Delaware County). He was married in Delaware County, Ohio, on the 17th of January, 1833, to Mary Ann, daughter of Elizabeth (Hillman) and Leonard Lott, by whom he had three children\emdash one sou and two daughters;
I. Maria Cordelia, born Dec. 14,1833;
II. Myron Decatur, born Aug. 6, 1836; and
III. Sarah , born Sept. 22, 1838; all of whom were born in Delaware Co.,

Isaac married Mary Ann LOTT, daughter of Leonard LOTT and Elizabeth Ann HILLMAN, on 17 Jan 1833 in Delaware Co., Ohio, United States. (Mary Ann LOTT was born on 26 Sep 1808 in Luzerne, Pennsylvania, USA, died on 11 Sep 1893 in Delaware Co., Ohio, United States and was buried in Stark Cem., Porter Twp. Delaware Co. Ohio.)
