Charles S. Benedict, 82 of Ashley, died Saturday morning February 8, 2003 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.
He was born in Ashley on November 9, 1920 to the late Harry and Lottie (White) Benedict. He had farmed in the Ashley area all of his life and was a member of K of P Lenape Lodge #29 in Delaware and longstanding Farm Bureau Member.
He is survived buy his wife of 52 years: Marguerite (Covrett) Benedict and they were married October 1950; Son and Daughter-in-law: Harry & Shirley Benedict of Ashley; Daughter and Son-in-law: Kathy & Lowell Morrow of Delaware; 2 Grandsons: Charles F. (Amanda) and Bryan M.; 1 Great Grandchild: Caitlin.
Preceded in death by Sister: Edna Marie Sark.
