  General Notes:

From Longwell Family Paper Thelma Christiansen. She lists. John & Sarah (Sallie) Longwell Kenslar's children as Elizabeth, Thomas,Kathern,James,Louis,Harrison and William who died very young.

I found a 1850 Census record in Indiana which is very close to the same names only with additional children who were born after Sallie had died. Thomas , Kathern and Harrison do not show up on this list but Elizabeth,James,Lewis and William do. Thomas and Kathern would be old enough to be out of the house.

Due to ages John was possibly married prior to Sallie to Anne? buried at Whitehall cemetery in 1824. and John and Anne had two or three Children Katherine,Thomas, and possibly Louisa.

He Then married Sallie Longwell who was only 14 and had.. Elizabeth, James, William & Lewis. Sallie then died in 1843.

Thomas stayed in Ohio 1850 Census and later married and went to Van Wert Co., Ohio

Thomas married Phoebe L. KETCHAM on 8 Apr 1858 in Morrow Co., Ohio. (Phoebe L. KETCHAM was born in 1826 in New York.)
