Norton THURSTON

  General Notes:

Norton Thurston,5, (Samuel 4, Edward 3, Samuel 2, Edward 1), son of Samuel and Eunice (Anthony) Thurston of Newport R.I.; born there May 29, 1745; married May 25, 1768, Ann Greene; she died in Canajoharie, N.Y.,1814. He went to Delaware county, Ohio, in 1810, on to salt lands,and bored four hundred feet, but found the salt not strong enough to pay expense of working, became discouraged, and died 1817.

Moved from Rhode Island to Whitehall New York, to Ohio and Back to New York.
