  General Notes:

Note: Torrey indicated first child born 1631. He said they lived in Boston and New Haven, CT. At this time I have no actual proof that this is the Elizabeth and William Tuttle who are the parents of Anne/Anna although dates and place of residence do appear to match and Mr. Strictland's database makes this connection. He also indicates they married in England. Torrey indicates several males with residences in New Haven that would be in the correct age range to possibly be sons of William - Jonathan born. 1637, Joseph born. 1640, Nathaniel born. 1653, , Samuel born 1659, Thomas born. 1634 or 1635. Strictland lists 12 children in this order: John, Anne, Thomas, Jonathan, David, Joseph, Sarah, Elizabeth, Simon, Benjamin, Mercy, and Nathaniel.

William married Elizabeth MATHEWS in 1629 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. (Elizabeth MATHEWS was born in 1609 in Exter, Devonshire, England and died on 30 Dec 1648 in Milford, New Haven, Connecticut, USA.)
