Hubbell, James R. -- Bellville. The receipt of a telegram on Saturday announcing the death of James Hubbell, at his home in Milford, Neb., created a feeling of sorrow among the many friends of himself and family in this place. Hubbell, James R. -- Thursday. The remains of James R. Hubbell were brought from Nebraska and interred in the Bellville Cemetery today. James I. Geddes, of this city, and James L. Hubbell, James Randolph -- James Randolph Hubbell was born in Delaware, Ohio, June 17, 1850. Died in Milford, Neb., Jan. 26, 1894, aged 43 years, 7 months and 9 days. He was joined in holy matrimony to Miss Marcellas Aungst in Bellville, Ohio, Sept. 17, 1881. There was born to them 5 children, 2 sons and 3 daughters, all of whom are living. They have lived in Milford and vicinity for 3 years. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias in good standing, up to his death. He has held several important positions under the auspices of our government. He was in the Revenue service, and in the engraving department some four years. He was attacked with la grippe about six weeks prior to his death. He has suffered with bronchitis for a number of years, which was the cause of his death, finally terminating in capillary bronchitis. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss. May God's blessing rest upon them. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. F. Deal at the residence. Mr. Hubbell was a kind and loving father, an affectionate husband, a good neighbor, and a patriotic citizen; he was followed to the grave by a large number of friends.
