107. XLII. David Van Sickle, the first child of John and Susannah (Wyker), was born iu Sussex Co., N. J. June 13, 1815, and was brought to Ohio by his parents in the autumn of 1816. He was married in Delaware Co., 0., July 4, 1839, to Caroline, daughter of William Rodgers, by whom he had three children\emdash two sons and one daughter;
I. James, born July 23, 1840, who died March 17, 1877 ;
II. Elizabeth Ann, born Aug. 24, 1842, who married Mason Sherman ; and
III. Warner, born April 27, 1848, who married Clemina Leonard (and who died March 20, 1871). He is a farmer by occupation, and now (1880) lives on his own farm in Kingston Township, Delaware Co., 0. P. 0 , Kingston Center.
