Laura Delette Bell Bailey was born 27 Sept 1874 Johnstown, Licking Co., Ohio, daughter of Isaac W. Bailey and Emmarilla Mason. Laura married (1) at residence of officiating minister Rev. Wm. L. Phillips, 26 Nov, 1890 John Hiland Fremont Waddell Gregory. Some spell the one name Highland, reason unknown as my great-uncle Walter Jay Gregory spelled it Hiland. They had 3 children, which you show. After John died she married second 5 March 1913 Morrow Co., Ohio license Vol. 7 pg. 419 Fred Peters. She married third 10 Sept. 1928 Morrow Co., Ohio Vol. 9 pg 102 Ernest Ashley. Laura Ashley died 25 August 1953, Peru Twp., Morrow Co., Ohio at home of son Elvie Clyde Gregory. She was buried 25 Aug 1953 in South Woodbury Cemetery (listed as having mailing Rt.# 3, Marengo, Ohio), Southwoodbury, Peru Twp., Morrow Co., Ohio. As there is no visible marker there she either has no marker, or has one of those field rock markers, or if there was a marker it has fell over and buried under the grass.

Laura married John Hiland Fremont Waddell GREGORY, son of Benjamin GREGORY and Emily VAN SICKLE, on 26 Nov 1890. (John Hiland Fremont Waddell GREGORY was born on 27 Oct 1862 in Morrow Co., Ohio, died on 10 Apr 1908 and was buried on 12 Apr 1908 in South Woodbury ME Cem, Peru, Morrow, Ohio.)
