BIOGRAPHY: Benjamin C. Gaylord, 25, and his mother Sarah, 63, resided in a home on the west side S. Columbus Street at the edge of Sunbury surrounded by land belonging to C. Armstrong. Their home was the second one south of South Street and north of the Nestles Plant. Benjamin died in 1858, his daughter, Sarah in 1864 believed in error (1854) ,. His mother owns the home on the 1866 Map of Sunbury.
His Will/Estate filed in Delaware Co., Ohio names children and wife.
Benjamin married Laura Ann GREEN, daughter of Ebenezer GREEN and Polly TALLMAN, on 6 Nov 1851 in Trenton, Delaware, Ohio. (Laura Ann GREEN was born in 1830 in Lake Co., Ohio and died on 12 Oct 1886 in Sunbury, Berkshire, Delaware, Ohio.)
